Numerous avenues exist for starting freediving. The 1-star AIDA 1 beginner freediving course serves as a foundational program encompassing essential techniques and theoretical knowledge for aspiring freedivers.
Course Details
Cost: £165
Includes pool hire as well as all equipment.
As an AIDA 1* candidate, we ask that you transport yourself between local dive sites; however, please contact us if this will be an issue.
(Additionally, if you have your own wetsuit, we would recommend bringing it.)

This Beginner Freediving Course not only enables you to train in pools across the country with clubs but also prepares you for more advanced courses. If you’re looking to use dive sites either in the UK or abroad, you’d need the AIDA 1&2 star certification.
You can complete the 2* at a later date or, alternatively, even the day after (subject to availability).

Course Fee: £165
The course package includes pool hire, training, certification, and equipment. If you have your own wetsuit, we recommend bringing it for a potentially better fit, although we provide them free of charge.
Requirements:
- Participants must be over 16 years old.
- Must be capable of swimming 200m unaided.
- Completion of a self-declaration medical form is required (available upon request prior to booking).
Course Details:
- All courses are conducted in small groups to ensure optimal safety and teaching quality, with a maximum instructor-to-student ratio of 1:4.
- Courses start and end in Bodmin, Cornwall.
- Daily sessions run from 9:30 am to approximately 4-6 pm.
- Boat dives are available for an additional charge of £35-£45, subject to weather and tide conditions.

What to Bring:
- Old shoes or flip-flops for walking at dive sites.
- We offer free hire. However, a £50 deposit is collected on the course day to cover potential damages or loss. Refer to the detailed terms provided here.
